Peru State Women’s Basketball Drops Double OT Thriller 99-93 to Baker U.

Forty minutes of basketball was not enough for the Peru State and Baker women’s basketball teams. Neither was 45 minutes. It took a double overtime in Baldwin City, Kan., to decide the final outcome with the Wildcats claiming a 99-93 win over the Bobcats.

Baker improved to 7-1 overall with the win and 2-1 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (Heart). The Bobcats, despite the gallant effort, dropped to 1-5 and 0-2 in the conference.
