Peru State’s Marsh-Contreras Heart Freshman of the Year

Peru State women’s basketball player Alyssa Marsh-Contreras (Bellevue) earned one of the Heart of America Athletic Conference’s (Heart) top yearend awards on Feb. 25.
Marsh-Contreras was named as the conference’s Freshman of the Year following her 2018-19 performance in a Bobcat uniform. In addition, Marsh-Contreras was named to the Heart’s Second Team.
Other Heart top honors were also noted in Monday’s press release by the conference office.
