McKenzie Witt Signs With Peru State Women’s Basketball

Peru State women’s basketball head coach Joan Albury recently announced the signing of McKenzie Witt, a 5-7 guard, from Falls City.
Witt, who plays for the Falls City Sacred Heart Irish, is the daughter of Travis Witt/Alisha Hoppe and Jamie Sopoci of Falls City.
For the past four years, Witt has been a member of Irish team which has been represented in the Nebraska High School D-2 State Tournament. During her freshman and sophomore years, the Irish were the state champions. Her junior year, Sacred Heart finished as the runner-ups. This year, the Irish finished in third place.
