Many Contribute to Bulldogs’ 2018-2019 Season Success; Open State Play Vs. Central Catholic
It has been a record-setting season for the Auburn Bulldog boys’ basketball team.
The Bulldogs head to the Class C-1 state tournament Thursday morning, March 7 with a 21-3 record. That exceeds the previous season victory total by three. In last week’s district final, sophomore Cameron Binder scored 40 points shattering by one the single game scoring record held by Trent Jones and Grant Cole. The squad averages 58.2 points per game while allowing 42.7. The average margin in their wins is 18.8 points. In 11 contests the Auburn boys kept their opponents under 40.
