Lady Eagles Conclude Regular Season 13-8

ADAMS, HUMBOLDT - The Johnson-Brock Lady Eagles went 1-1 in their final regular season games last week against the Freeman Lady Falcons and the Humboldt/Table Rock-Steinauer Lady Titans to make their season record 13-8 heading into subdistricts this week.

The Lady Eagles made the trek to Freeman on Thursday, February 7th and lost a disappointing overtime game against their hosts.

Johnson-Brock held a 6-2 lead after the 1st quarter and were ahead 13-12 at the half. They edged Freeman 2-0 in the 3rd period before the Lady Falcons tied the game up at 23-23 to send it into overtime. In that overtime period, Freeman went on a huge 11-2 scoring run to pull out the win by a 34-25 count.
