Junior Golf Tournament Draws Over 60 Youth to Auburn Course

The 2019 Jr. Golf Tournament was held Saturday, August 3 at the Auburn Country Club. Committee member Sherrie Cottrell said this year they had a record 63 golfers participating ranging in age from 5-16 years. The tournament is free for all interested youth ages 5-18. It is held the first Saturday in August every year. All participants receive a t-shirt, gift bag, door prize and lunch. This event could not be possible without all of the individuals and businesses that donate, the volunteers who assist, the kids who participate and their families.
