First National Bank of Johnson Seniors 2-2 Over July 4 Weekend

The First National Bank (FNB) of Johnson Senior American Legion baseball team was 17-11 entering the first full week of July.

The Seniors won home games 6-3 over Elkhorn Mount Michael and 3-1 over Crete Friday and Saturday, July 2 and 3. Sunday, July 4, the Seniors dropped a 2-10 decision at Nebraska City. The stretch concluded Monday, July 5 with a 4-12 loss to Omaha Roncalli.

Auburn was outhit 5-6. Trailing 0-3 entering the fifth inning, FNB of Johnson Seniors tallied 5 adding an additional run in the sixth.

Hits: Brad Hall a homer; Brody Darnell a triple; Tye Ommert a double; and Hayden Hall and Travon Shaw.
