First National Bank Auburn Seniors End Season with Loss to Hickman in Area Tourney

Early Tuesday evening, July 23, the First National Bank Senior American Legion baseball team lost 1-4 to Hickman. The loss in the area tournament at Nebraska City ends the Seniors season with a 14-12 record. Hickman scored once in the second inning, twice in the third and once in the fifth. The only First National Bank Seniors score came with two outs in the seventh inning. The locals had 5 hits, while Hickman tallied 7. Hits: Cole Fossenbarger 2; and Zach Dickerson, Ryne Flynn and Josh Lambert. Lambert hit a double. Run: Austin Wheeldon. Walks: Hayden Hall and Kyson Warner.
