Evangel Women Defeat Peru State 75-50

The Peru State women’s basketball team continues to improve upon their shooting performances. But, it was not enough Saturday afternoon in the AWAC as the Bobcats fell to the visiting Evangel (Mo.) Crusaders 75-50.
With the win, the Crusaders improved to 3-15 on the year and 2-7 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (Heart) South Division. Peru State fell to 3-14 overall and are still looking for their first conference win against nine losses.
