Eagles Eighth and Lady Eagles 12th at MUDECAS

Saturday, April 13, the Johnson-Brock High School track and field teams competed in the MUDECAS meet. The boys finished eighth with the girls ending up 12th. Fifteen schools entered. Four Eagles scored in six events with eight Lady Eagles medaling in seven events.

Coach Ben Ideus’ Comments

“It turned out to be a nice day in Adams. This was one of our most difficult meets of the year. When you get 15 schools together, it gives you great opportunity to see a majority of the talent in Southeast Nebraska. It was great to see some of our new athletes have the opportunity to compete and score points and our upperclassmen stepping up against good competition. The coaches were proud of all our kids. This meet makes you realizes the little things that as a team we need to keep working on in order to improve on going into the home stretch of the year.”
