Dairy Sweet Reserves Win One of Four In Millard Sox Tournament July 7-9

The Dairy Sweet Reserves American Legion baseball team went 1-3 in the Millard Sox Tournament. Games were played at Westgate Field in Omaha.
Late Friday afternoon, July 7, the Reserves were blanked by Lincoln East 0-13. Saturday afternoon, July 8, Auburn lost 3-13 to Elkhorn in five innings before falling 6-8 to the Millard Sox. Sunday morning, July 9, Dairy Sweet Reserves closed the tournament by routing Lincoln High 22-4 in five innings.
The Reserves are 9-14 on the season. Saturday and Sunday, July 15 and 16, the team will play in the state tournament at Waverly.
