Dairy Sweet Reserves Sweep Waverly; Lose Home Doubleheader to Bennington

The Dairy Sweet Reserves split four home games last week. The team had a 7-9 record entering its Tuesday, June 27 doubleheader at Springfield.

Wednesday, June 21, Dairy Sweet Reserves swept a home doubleheader from Waverly. Scores were 8-6 and 10-5 in six innings. Sunday, June 25, the Auburn team lost both ends of a doubleheader to Bennington. Scores were 3-10 and 0-8 in five innings.

After allowing three first inning runs, the home team answered with three runs of its own. Dairy Sweet Reserves started the rally with a double and two singles. Two runs scored on an error with another crossing the plate on a steal of home.
