Culver-Stockton Tops Peru State Baseball in Heart Elimination

The Culver Stockton (Mo.) Wildcats topped the Peru State baseball team in the consolation bracket of the Heart of America Conference (Heart) Postseason Tournament on Friday. The Wildcats defeated the Bobcats 9-6 at the US Baseball Ballpark in Ozark, Mo., in a match-up of the seventh and fifth seeds.

With the win, Culver-Stockton improved to 17-33 while the ‘Cats dropped to 26-28-1 to finish their season.
