Bulldog Wrestlers Place Fifth As Team at Bennington Invitational

Auburn Wrestling Coach Mark Oliver said the Bulldogs opened 2017-2018 season with a fine performance at the Bennington Invite. The local grapplers competed very well in a tough field of competitors that included top schools in classes A, B and C he commented.
Jalen Maher and Drew Keller won their respective weight classes. Oliver said, “Jalen and Drew really got out of the gate fast this year. Both wrestlers showed incredible toughness to win their final matches. Drew came from behind to pin his final opponent and Jalen came from behind to defeat his man by decision.
