Bulldog Boys Beat Falls City, Lose to Elmwood-Murdock; Girls Team Defeats Both Foes

The Auburn High School Varsity Boys Basketball Team split last weekend games. After winning a Dec. 9 rivalry game with visiting Falls City 65-55, the Bulldogs could do little right on Saturday and fell to Elmwood-Murdock 61-24. Coach Jim Weeks said about the game with the Tigers, “Friday night was a fun atmosphere and a game the boys wanted to play well in. We played hard for each other and found a way to make enough plays to win a close game. Our effort was very good and we played smart. When we got behind we were able to embrace it and compete.
