Bulldog Boys Basketball Team Bound for Lincoln After Crushing Fort Calhoun in District Finals
First Trip to State in 34 Years
The last time that the Auburn boys basketball team went to the state tournament was 1985. Now, 34 basketball seasons later, the 2018-19 Auburn Bulldogs clinched a district championship, and a spot in the 2019 Class C1 State Basketball Championships.

Beating Falls City
As the #1 seed in the Class C1-1 subdistrict, Auburn faced Falls City on Tuesday, February 19, in the first round of postseason play. The Bulldogs had defeated Falls City 66-36 earlier this season in Falls City. Sophomore point guard Cam Binder showed his will early in last week’s contest with an 11 point first quarter, including two three-pointers. Ryan Binder, Daniel Frary, and Josh Lambert all joined the scoring column in the second quarter helping Auburn hold an 11 point lead at halftime.
