Bombers 12&U Win Four of Seven Last Week

The Auburn Bombers 12 and under baseball team compiled a 4-3 record last week. The locals entered that period with a 2-1-1 record. Results from the first games were a 7-7 tie with Rock Rock Port, Mo., a Nebraska Braves 3-2 over Auburn, and Auburn wins over the Keystone Cobras 18-9 and 14-4,

Monday night, June 22, the Bombers split a doubleheader with Plattsmouth. After losing the opener 1-9 in 4 innings, Auburn bounced back with a 16-1 triumph in 3 frames. Thursday, June 25, Auburn lost 3-10 at Rock Port. Saturday afternoon, June 27, Auburn smashed Ashland 15-3 in 4 innings. Sunday, June 28, the team swept a twin bill with the Aksarben Cardinals, 9-8 and 13-1.
