8th-Ranked Grand View Scores 39 Unanswered Points to Top Peru State 45-28 Last Saturday

The Peru State football team had a 14-6 lead near the end of the first quarter. The visiting Grand View (Iowa) Vikings didn’t let that phase them as they rattled off 39 straight points in route to a 45-28 win over the Bobcats in the Oak Bowl on Saturday.

The eighth-ranked Vikings have run off five straight wins after losing its season opener and are 5-1 on the season. This was the first of the Heart of America Athletic Conference (Heart) games for both teams so Grand View is 1-0 in the North while the Bobcats are 0-1. The ‘Cats fell to 2-5 on the season.
