WILLIAM “BILL” HENRY DEAN

William “Bill” Henry Dean, son of Virgil and Lena Harms Dean, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2021 at home surrounded by family. Bill was born Oct 6, 1949 at home in Richardson County, Neb. He attended several schools in Richardson County and Nemaha County, Kansas before the family moved to Peru, Neb. Bill graduated from Auburn High School in 1968.

MELVIN “PEE-WEE” WILLIAM SNYDER

Melvin “Pee-Wee” William Snyder, 94, of rural Talmage, Nebraska was born on December 29, 1926 in rural Brock, Nebraska to William Walter and Ella Charlotte (Niedermeyer) Snyder. His family moved to the farmstead outside of Talmage in 1927 and he lived there his entire life. He was baptized and confirmed at Zion United Church of Christ in Talmage. Melvin attended Oak Hill country school near Talmage and graduated from Talmage High School with the class of 1944.

LORI DAHLENBURG HANGER

Lora Lea Dahlenburg, one of two daughters of Gerald E. and Marjorie JoAnn (Jurgensmeier) Dahlenburg, was born November 7, 1965, at Yankton, South Dakota. As a young girl, her family moved to Howe, Nebraska where Lori, as she was known, attended grade school. Lori then went on to Auburn High School, graduating with the class of 1984.

ROBIN R. SHANKS

Robin Renee Barnes Shanks, one of three daughters of Gerald and Wanda (Wilcox) Barnes, was born April 30, 1954, in Lincoln, Nebraska. As her family moved around Nebraska Robin attended several schools, notably North Loup and Norfolk, before graduating from Superior High School. She attended Southeast Community College and earned a degree as a dental assistant.
