TODD HENRY

1965-2018

Todd Henry, 53, of Peru passed away on December 28, 2018 in Peru, Nebraska. He was born in Garfield Heights, Ohio on January 25, 1965. Todd was raised in Arkansas where he attended both grade school and high school in Cave City. He relocated to Auburn, Neb. area where he began his more than 20-year career at the Nebraska Public Power District.

Todd was the definition of a family man. He loved his wife Shawna and his seven children more than anything in the world. He spent his free time helping them learn to appreciate nature and enjoy the outdoors. Todd was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to spend every weekend on the lake camping and boating.

Todd is survived by his wife Shawna of Peru; son Hunter; daughters Addison, and Hailey all of Peru; daughters Arika Henry of Indianapolis, Indiana, Heather Terry and husband Daniel of Midway, Georgia; Fayth Inman of Lafayette, Ind.; Rachel Henry of Lincoln; grandchildren Anna Berry of Lebanon, Ind., and Toren and Mercy Inman of Lafayette, Ind.; sisters Sandi Johnston of Albuquerque, N.M., Barbie Henry of Little Rock, Ark.; mother- and father-in-law Terrie and Walt Boring of Johnson; brother-in-law Shane and wife Kim Boring; sister-in-law Sherrie and husband Chris Cain other relatives and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Elaine Henry of Cave City, Ark.

A Celebration of Todd’s Life was Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn, with Rev. Oscar Sinclair officiating. Honorary bearers were Garrett Schwindt, Garrett Groff, Rodney Groff, Tim Henry, Daniel Terry, Edward Lee, Shane Boring, and Walter Boring.

Services were entrusted to Hemmingsen Funeral Home of Auburn.
