Kendall Suzanne (Moody) Sunneberg returned home to her final resting place on February 23rd, 2024, after a long, courageous battle against Multiple Sclerosis. Born in Superior, NE, March 3rd, 1972, to Joseph and Connie (Edwards) Moody, Kendall grew up in the small town of Auburn, Nebraska. There she enjoyed a very active life as a cheerleader, spending most days on the family farm or time with her many friends. The eldest of three children, she was always watching out for her younger brothers, and teaching them everything she knew.

Kendall graduated from Auburn High School in 1990 and went on to attend college at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, where she met and married her husband of 30 years, Jon Sunneberg. They were united in marriage on September 18th, 1993. Her proudest accomplishment in life were her children. As a mother, Kendall dedicated her life to her children. Creating happy family memories every chance she got, and making sure they always knew they were loved; Kendall’s children were her entire world.

Kendall is preceded in death by her grandparents Paul & Dee Edwards, Harold Moody, and brother in-law Ed Sunneberg. Those left behind to cherish her memory include her husband Jon, children Brandt (Claire Dyer), Blaike, and Britten (Grant Gannon), parents Joseph & Connie Moody, brothers Todd (Jaki) Moody and Eric (Morgan) Moody, niece and nephews Harrison, Clara, Braxton & Clayton Moody, grandmother Helen Moody, Mother and Father In-Law Bill & Elsie Sunneberg, Brothers & Sisters In-Law Kristi (Jerry) Meyer, Pam (Steve) Mitchell, Deb (Larry) Habegger, Jeris (Gavin) Marin, Kathy (Jeff) Johnson, & Dan (Jill) Sunneberg as well as many nieces and nephews. Kendall was loved deeply by all who knew her and will be missed dearly by her family and friends. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the extraordinary person she was and the lasting impact she made on all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life & reception to follow is scheduled for Saturday, March 2nd 2024, at 2:30 PM. The service will take place at Bosona Event Center, located at 772 Evergreen Lane, Bennett, NE 68317.
