DORIS A. OLIVER

1937-2022

Doris A. (Shormann) Oliver, born March 11, 1937 in Kearney, Nebraska, passed away November 22, 2022 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook, Nebraska. She was 85 years of age.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Ray Oliver; her parents, Elmer and Ruth (Puttergill) Shormann; her brothers, Charles (Kathy) Shormann and Clarence (Sue) Shormann; her sister, Shirley (Lonnie) Todd; plus numerous family and friends.

Survivors include her children: Sandra (Mike) Teel, Mark (Kay) Oliver, Dennis (Brenda) Oliver, Daniel (Rita) Oliver, and Richard (Evelyn) Oliver; sister, Delene Lueken; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Doris’ family honored her wish to serve as an anatomical gift participant with the Nebraska Anatomical Board. A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
