Donald L. Wellman

Donald L. Wellman, age 87 of Auburn, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at the Good Samaritan Society-Auburn. Survivors include his wife Lois of Auburn; children and their spouses Eldon and Diane Wellman of Howe; Darrell and Tami Wellman of Auburn; Sheryl and Jim Holscher of Scottsbluff; nine grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren (and one on the way); brother and sister-in-law Duane and Edith Wellman of Syracuse; other relatives and many friends. A funeral service will be Monday, July 17, 2:00 p.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Auburn. Burial will follow in Sheridan West Cemetery, with graveside military honors by American Legion Post #23 and Nebraska National Guard Honors Detail. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday noon to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 6:00 to 8:00. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Auburn Rescue Squad, American Legion Post #23, or Emily & Dave Havens ~ Wycliffe Bible Translators. Services are entrusted to Hemmingsen Funeral Home of Auburn.
