DONALD C. WAGNER,

BROCK, NEBRASKA

Born June 6, 1925,

Died June 9, 2019

Served on a mine sweeper in the Pacific Ocean, United States Navy, WWII from December 2, 1943 to May 19, 1946. Upon discharge, he graduated from Peru State College. He went on to teach at Auburn Public Schools and then went to work on the farm. He was united in marriage on February 7, 1958 to Wilma Reiman Lairmore.

Survivors are children Janice and Lon Bohling, Papillion, Nebraska; Dennis and Shawna Wagner, Greeley, Colorado; David and Ann Wagner, Dardenne Prairie, Missouri; Jayne and Mike Scofield, Lincoln, Neb.; grandchildren, great grandchildren; In-laws Fran and Harold Chaffee, Lincoln; Virginia Meints, Tecumseh, Neb.; Floyd Vrtiska, Lincoln, Neb.; nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Preceded in death by wife, Wilma; sister, Doris; brother-in-laws, Noel Mark and Marvin Meints.

Memorials to Nemaha Valley Museum, Nemaha Valley Genealogical Society or to the family.

Visitation was at Hemmingsen Funeral Home, Johnson, on Tuesday, June 11, with family greeting friends.

Services will be at Hemmingsen Funeral Home, Auburn, on Wednesday, June 12, beginning 10:30 a.m.
