1948-2017

Denice Warden Laham, 68, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, died Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Deni was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on August 26, 1948. She graduated from Tecumseh High School in Tecumseh, Nebraska in 1966, attended the University of Kansas and Peru State Teachers College before turning to the world of computing, where she excelled. She worked as a Senior Functional Analyst at General Dynamics Information Technology in Des Moines, Iowa until 2015 when she retired to move to Cheyenne to be near her daughter, Aimee Sommers, son-inlaw, Aaron, and granddaughter, Silas. Spending the last year with Aimee and her family was a great joy to her. She cherished her Dachshunds, Holmes and Watson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles R. and Martha S. Warden. Survivors include her daughters, Aimee (Aaron and Silas) and Jennifer May, Minneapolis, Minn.; her brother, Strat Warden, his wife, Sonja, Elizabethtown, Ky., and their children, Chas and Rachel; her brother, Yorke Warden, his wife, Beno, Anaheim, Calif., and their children, Shartel (Sharon) Warden [Levi, Jacob, and Olive], Shiloh (Stephen) Atkins, and Sharon Warden; and her brother, Kirk Warden, his wife, Ann, St. Louis, Missouri, and their children, Taylor and Charlie.
