Arlene was born on April 16, 1936 to Henry Michael and Frances Marie (Kaufman) Foxhoven at Earling, Iowa. She attended St. Joseph Catholic School in Earling, Iowa and graduated in 1954. After graduation, she attended business school in Omaha, where she met the love of her life. After college, she worked for a short time at Stang Corporation. On January 30, 1956, she was united in marriage to William Rolf in Earling, Iowa. They made their home in Omaha until they moved to Tekamah in October 1957. In March of 1959, they moved to Fullerton, where they began a farming operation.

Arlene was a very hardworking farm wife. She sewed clothes for her seven children, she had a huge garden, canned food, and taught her children how to sew and cook. She was very supportive of her husband, who was a baseball coach, and never missed an opportunity to go to the games in all the sports her children and grandchildren participated in. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, St. Ann’s Altar Society, Fullerton Flower Belles, Eagle’s Auxiliary, Pleasant Valley Extension Club, and Wall Street Extension Club. She also loved bowling with her friends, playing in bowling leagues, and having card parties. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and will be greatly missed by all.

Arlene is survived by her husband, Bill of Fullerton; children, Linda Small of West Point, Don (Sheri) Rolf of Fullerton, Mike Rolf of Fullerton, Pam Voichahoske of Fullerton, Kevin (Lisa) Rolf of Auburn, Ala., Karen (Grant) Miller of Kansas City, Kan., and Sandy (Brian) Bradley of Auburn; 22 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild on the way; and three sisters, Sister Charlita Foxhoven of Milwaukee, Wisc., Janet Fielder of Omaha, and Shirley Herbst of Earling, Iowa.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Betty Noonan and Carol Foxhoven; and brothers, Les Foxhoven and Dick Foxhoven.

Memorials are suggested to the family for designation at a later date.
