Auburn High School Varsity Cross Country Teams finished second and third in an invitational held Aug. 23 at the Auburn Country Club. It is believed that the last high school cross country meet hosted by Auburn High took place at the local golf course in 1992 and the final one in Auburn occurred the next year on property near the present middle school/high school campus.
