Successful 2018 Fair Features More Exhibits, Good Attendance

Despite heat and rain during its four-day run, many associated with the 2018 Nemaha County Fair called the annual exposition successful. The fair ran Thursday, July 12 through Sunday, July 15.
“It went well considering the heat. The beginning of the fair (July 12) was extremely warm. The Friday (July 13) rain was a definite relief. It changed the dynamics. It cooled things down and helped everyone’s attitude. The delay of the parade (until Saturday, July 14) worked out well,” said Gary Lesoing, Nebraska Extension educator and unit leader.
