Bulldog Speech Second at Conestoga, Two Entries Achieve NIETOC Bids

During the Auburn City Council’s Monday meeting, Board of Public Works (BPW) Interim General Manager Ray Luhring informed the Auburn City Council of the details of an ordinance that he called one of the first steps of repairing some of the aging infrastructural including water mains and manhole covers.
If it weren’t for a small sign that read “Dean’s Barber Shop” with an image of a classic barber pole, most people probably wouldn’t ever expect for 1111 18th Street to be a top men’s haircut spot in the area. It looks like residential home in a residential area of Auburn and it is, but Tuesday through Friday during regular business hours, Dean Coulter hosts a number of clients a day for haircuts in his at-home barber shop.
The Auburn Speech Team began the 2024 season by competing at Lincoln Southwest High School Saturday, Jan. 20.
About 25 Auburn Public Schools (APS) patrons joined the Board of Education and administrators at the Central Office auditorium Wednesday night, Jan. 17. The board had an informative workshop to start planning towards addressing increasing enrollment. No action was taken.
