The Nemaha County Commissioners favor moving forward with hiring a full-time Extension 4-H assistant or aide. On Wednesday, Feb. 16, the commissioners will act on advertising for a 4-H assistant.
Tax Commissioner Tony Fulton reminds Nebraska income tax filers as they prepare their Individual Tax returns for 2021 that Nebraskans will be able to claim a refundable income tax credit of 25.3% of qualified school district taxes paid because of LB1107. Commissioner Fulton said, “This is the largest refundable income tax credit to date. This puts dollars back into the pockets of the people who paid soaring property taxes across the entire state.”
Christina Lillenas signed Wednesday, Feb. 2 to enter the Rural Health Opportunities Program (RHOP) at Chadron State College (CSC) in physical therapy.
Funds raised from shoppers at Auburn Sunmart last fall will be used to help serve area residents in need. Project Pantry has been forwarded $2,480.12 in SpartanNash Foundation’s annual Scan to End Hunger campaign.
