Southeast Nebraska Community Action Receives $25,000 from Healthy Blue to Address Social Drivers of Health

Humboldt – Southeast Nebraska Community Action (SENCA) received $25,000 from Healthy Blue to address the many social drivers that impact health. The funding commitment from Healthy Blue Nebraska will support and maintain several existing SENCA programs and initiatives for low-income and vulnerable individuals across southeast Nebraska.

Nebraska’s 2021 Property Tax Credit of 25.3% Historic

Tax Commissioner Tony Fulton reminds Nebraska income tax filers as they prepare their Individual Tax returns for 2021 that Nebraskans will be able to claim a refundable income tax credit of 25.3% of qualified school district taxes paid because of LB1107. Commissioner Fulton said, “This is the largest refundable income tax credit to date. This puts dollars back into the pockets of the people who paid soaring property taxes across the entire state.”
