SENCA’s 16th Annual Benefit Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, June 11th at Kirkman’s Lakeview Golf Course at Humboldt.
Friday, April 22, an eighth grade team from Auburn won the inaugural Educational Service Unit (ESU) 4 Middle School Quiz Bowl. A team from Johnson-Brock finished on top of the consolation bracket.
The woodworking shop at Region V Services in Auburn will be closing within the next three to six months, according to Area Director Melody McLaughlin. The shop in Auburn will shut down as soon as supplies run out and in an effort to further integrate Region V’s clients into the community.
April 2022 averaged 2.0 degrees below normal, the fourth consecutive month of below normal temps. The maximum was 91 degrees on April 12th, which broke the daily record by five degrees. The minimum was 25 degrees on the 26th. That is the average last date of a 32 degree temp. There were 13 freezing minimums, normal is six.
