Auburn’s Virginia Kouba Recognized As Optimists’ ‘Youth of the Month’

“The biggest reason that spurred me to start Cat Action Together (CAT) was a house down the street from me where four or five cats were being fed. By the following year, I counted close to 3o cats.” That was Virginia Kouba’s answer when asked what influenced her to found the organization. “I wanted to help those (Feral) cats...get spayed so this type of explosion wouldn’t continue.”

We really saw a lot of snow recently. I know not all people appreciate snow as much as others. It makes travel difficult and is accompanied by very cold temperatures, and also, in some cases, our plants don’t appreciate it either.
