Wednesday, Nov. 29, Auburn High School achieved District B-1 play production runner-up at Fairbury.
WINTER SPORTS ATHLETES in Nemaha County began play this past week. PICTURED: Cameron Leslie wins the opening tip for the Bulldog boys Friday night. The Auburn girls basketball team split their first two games against Weeping Water and Malcolm. The Auburn boys started their season with a win over Malcolm as did the Johnson-Brock boys over Lincoln Christian. The Lady Eagles fell to the Crusaders on the same night. Auburn Wrestlers opened their season at the Bennington Invite, where the boys finished seventh and the girls came in sixth. See details on the week’s high school sporting events on page 7.
A proposal not to exceed $10,693.65 from Telecom Data was accepted Monday night, Nov. 13 by the Auburn Public Schools (APS) Board of Education.
Since her mother and grandmother taught her how, Ashley Gibbs has loved baking sweet treats. She found so much enjoyment in the hobby that, three years ago, she acquired her Cottage Law License and founded Treats by Ashley.
