Wehrbein Is New Auburn FFA Advisor, Agriculture Instructor

A 2015 Lewiston High School graduate, Brooke Wehrbein of Falls City joined the Auburn Public Schools staff Monday, Jan. 4.

Wehrbein will be teaching vocational agriculture as well as advising the Auburn FFA chapter. A first-year teacher, she is a recent graduate of Northwest Missouri State University (NWMSU) at Maryville. Wehrbein succeeds Ashton Bohling, who is now teaching at Johnson-Brock Public Schools.

“I would still like the chapter to utilize the greenhouse as it has in the past and compete in events. I want to add a few more courses, including small engines and a leadership class,” she notes.

Wehrbein says her FFA involvement started in seventh grade, the first year you can join the organization. She was active in the Lewiston chapter also joining collegiate FFA while at NWMSU.
