Village of Johnson’s 150 Years Celebration Planning Ongoing

2019 marks several area milestones. Johnson is celebrating 150 years as a village. The Father’s Day Chicken Barbecue observes its 55th year. Johnson-Brock Public Schools is in its 50th year of consolidation. The American Legion commemorates a century.

Some New Events Planned

The Johnson Chamber of Commerce announces new events to be part of the Sunday, June 16 Chicken Barbecue festivities, stated Teresa Hahn, planning committee member.

A carnival atmosphere featuring games and rides is going to be located on Main Street from noon to 4 p.m.

Contributions which have been received to date are making the following possible: an obstacle course, water tag game, rock climbing wall, the Wizzer ride, miniature golf and a dunk tank.
