U.S. Highway 136 East of Brownville Remains Inaccessible for Time Being

THESE AERIAL PHOTOS of U.S. Highway 136 on the Missouri side of the Missouri River bridge at Brownville taken on Monday, April 8 show what the public would rather not see, that being water still covering the lowlands and a section of the highway which still has water rushing over it (see inset of area in circle enlarged below). The Missouri Department of Transportation has yet to make its intentions known as to any possible time frame for traffic being able to return to this crucial stretch of highway that separates many people from their places of work and where they live.
