Stoner Drug Administering Vaccines for COVID-19 Virus

Stoner Drug in Auburn is currently administering vaccines for the COVID-19 virus to citizens who are at least 18 years old. Members of the community can schedule appointments to receive the Moderna vaccine Monday-Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m., by phone or in person. Those looking to get the vaccine can also visit www.healthmartcovidvaccine.com to schedule an appointment. The Moderna vaccine is a two shot vaccine that requires four weeks between doses. Vaccinations are available with zero copay.

The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and the CDC have all recommended that the previous pause on the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine be lifted following a safety review. Stoner Drug plans to resume distribution of the J&J vaccine in the very near future. The J&J vaccine is a single dose shot that doesn’t require a second appointment. Visitors would be able to choose which vaccine they receive when both are available.
