A SHORT LINE was forming in 2nd Douglas Precinct shortly after the polls opened at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8. David Helms, at right, signs in with election workers Barb Lynch and Carie Allen. As of about 1 p.m. Nov. 8, there were 151 voters in the precinct at New Line Church near Auburn’s Courthouse Square.
