Sen. Fischer Comments on Presidential Inauguration

U.S. Sen. Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) released a statement Friday afternoon, Jan. 20. It followed the inauguration of Donald J. Trump, the 45th president of the United States.
“It was wonderful to see so many Nebraskans in Washington for this historic occasion. The peaceful transfer of power is symbolic of our republic and it represents the very best of our democracy. I wish our new president well as he sets out to lead our country in a new direction,” she said.
