Rick Janssen Re-Elected to Auburn City Council; Paul Fish and Gary Stuchal Win Positions on Brownville Village Board

Rick Janssen won re-election to the Auburn City Council from the 2nd Ward in the Tuesday, Nov. 8, general election. Unofficial results from Nemaha County Clerk Joyce Oakley showed Janssen received 362 votes to 145 votes for Gregory Cook. Janssen won all three precincts, although his margin in 3rd Douglas Precinct was only six votes. In the other contested municipal race in the county, Paul Fish, incumbent, earned 51 votes with Gary Stuchal 45 votes to win two positions on the Brownville Village Board. Other totals were: Natisha Helmick-Winkelman, 30 votes and Derek Bohling, 17.
