Portable Treatment Plant Now Providing Water for City of Peru

The City of Peru began receiving water from a portable treatment plant and resumed filling the water tower effective July 26, according to Charlotte Carpenter, city clerk.

The city obtained the portable water treatment plant through a lease with WesTech Engineering, Inc. WesTech is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, with other offices across the country and around the world. WesTech provides process solutions for water and wastewater treatment, liquids/solids separation, and biological treatment needs in municipal, industrial, and minerals markets worldwide. In Peru, it is meeting the need for clean water through technology treatment solutions.
