One Fatality in Jan. 28 Two-Vehicle Crash West of Stella

A Lovington, N.M. man died Thursday afternoon, Jan. 28 from injuries sustained in a two vehicle collision. It was near the intersections of Highways 75 and 62 west of Stella
The Richardson County Sheriffs Office notes at about 3:3o p.m., Chad Murrish, age 44, was driving a southbound 2019 Dodge Ram. He crossed the center line striking a northbound semi-truck and trailer driven by Milan Batula, age 34 of Sioux Falls, S.D. Murrish was transported to Nemaha County Hospital, where he died. Batula was first transported to Nemaha County Hospital and subsequently to Bryan West in Lincoln. His injuries are unknown.
