October Temperatures Below Average, While Precipitation Above Normal for the Month

October temperatures averaged 5.3 degrees below normal. The 32 degree maximum temperature on October 30th lacked just two days of tying the record for the earliest freezing or colder maximum. October 28, 1925 had a maximum of 31 degrees, tied with October 30 of 1993. The maximum for the month was 90 degrees on October 1st, while the minimum was 19 degrees on the 31st. There were eleven October days with 32 degrees or colder minimums, while the normal is five.
