Nemaha County Sheriff Brent Lottman provided this detailed “calls by type” which his officers responded to from Saturday, Oct. 24 through Friday, Oct. 30.

Sheriff’s officers answered the following: 2 accidents–hit and run, 2 accidents–no injury, 1 animal–bite, 1 animal–dog, 6 assisting another agency–Health and Human Services. 1 code violation–parking, 1 civil standby, 1 disturbance–family, 1 drugs–marijuana, 1 driving under the influence–alcohol, 1 fire call, 2 information for officer, 1 juvenile, 1 medical call, 1 motorist assist, 1 suspicious act–subject, 1 terroristic threats, 3 theft–unlawful taking, 5 traffic–possible reckless driving, 1 traffic control–funeral, 3 warrant service and 1 welfare check–person.
