Nemaha County Home Care Receives 5-Star Home Health Rating

AUBURN, Nebr. (August 31, 2017) — Nemaha County Home Care has received a 5-star rating from Home Health Compare, an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Nemaha County Home Care is the only Nebraska agency to receive all 5-stars.
Home Health Compare uses a star rating between 1 and 5 to show consumers how a “Medicare-certified” home health agency compares to other home health agencies across the United States on measurements of performance and medical outcomes. The star ratings center around nine measures of quality that give a general overview of healthcare performance including meeting certain federal health and safety requirements. Evaluation categories include managing daily activities, managing pain and treating symptoms, preventing harm, and preventing unplanned hospital care.
