NDCS & Parole Board Will Hold June 25 Joint News Conference

Scott Frakes, director, Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) and Rosalyn Cotton, chairperson, Nebraska Board of Parole, will hold a joint news conference at 10 a.m. on June 25, 2020 at the NDCS Central Office.

State law (Neb. Rev. Stat. §83-962) requires Director Frakes to certify if the inmate population exceeds 140 percent of design capacity as of July 1, 2020. Dir. Frakes and Chairperson Cotton will discuss progress made by both agencies in preparing inmates for parole as well as plans moving forward.
