Monday, March 18 Empty Bowls Fundraiser In Auburn Features Seven Kinds of Soup to Help Stock Students Backpacks

Seven establishments will be donating soup to the Monday, March 18 Empty Bowls special event.

Contributors are listed with their respective varieties. Arbor Manor, chili; Auburn Public Schools (APS), cheesy potato ham; El Portal Mexican Restaurant, tortilla; Nemaha County Hospital, Italian wedding; Peru State College Creative Dining Services, loaded baked potato; Pizza Hut, chicken noodle and Subway, broccoli cheese. Amigos is donating chips.

The Auburn BackPack Committee is sponsoring the fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m. at the 4-H Building. Tickets at $25 are available from any member of the committee or the Auburn High School (AHS) Future Business Leaders of America. A number of entities will be assisting with financial support.
