Martin New Calvert Vocal Music Instructor; Mary Stukenholtz Moving to Secondary Students

The Auburn Public Schools (APS) Board of Education Monday, June 10 approved a 2019-2020 teaching contract for Kourtney Martin. The meeting was at the Julian Village Hall.

Martin will be Calvert Elementary School vocal music teacher. Mary Stukenholtz, who has served in that position will be teaching secondary vocal music. Stukenholtz succeeds Andrew Seuferer who will be moving to Lincoln.

Dr. Virginia Moon, interim superintendent, said Martin comes highly recommended. She continued Stukenholtz wants to give secondary vocal music a try since she is familiar with the students. Moon stated the three music instructors will work closely together as a team. Matthew Stubbs is instrumental teacher.
