Local Schools Announce Closings

Johnson-Brock Public Schools has canceled school and activities starting Wednesday, March 18, 2020 through Tuesday, March 31, 2020. We will reevaluate the situation on the 31st and determine if school can resume. At the 3:30pm Monday press conference regarding the Coronavirus, Governor Ricketts and State Commissioner of Education Matt Blomstedt recommended schools in Nebraska close temporarily as a precautionary measure to help reduce the spread of the virus. ESU 4 schools have been actively collaborating with the Southeast District Health Department and upon the Southeast District Health Department recommendation to close school for two week periods.

All school buildings will be closed to everyone on Wednesday, March 18. Central office staff and maintenance staff will report as normal. School buildings will NOT be open or accessible. Teachers will be working on providing supplemental curriculum for your child(ren).
